Divine "Leela" or Play is much more than mere Miracles

A magician is capable of performing “miracles.” They can make a pigeon appear out of nowhere or read someone’s mind. With the use of various practices or “kriyas” a magician is able to achieve inconceivable feats.
We said a while back that having supernatural powers (siddhis) are only possible through the will of the Divine (Ishvar Ichha). It is only with Divine Grace what one will possess these supernatural powers. The Divine does not perform miracles (chamatkar). When performing miracles becomes a topic of public display (done just for show with no other intention) then they not miracles at all! The purpose of miracles is, and ought to be, social welfare and welfare of people in general.
We talk about Divine play or “Leela.” The Divine does not perform miracles to prove anything or to make a public display. When Lord Krishna performed ‘leelas’, he did them as per the need of the situation. When the need arose, due to certain circumstances, he manifested a certain aspect of his power to help in that situation. He did not indulge in leelas (Divine play) twenty-four hours a day. Lord Krishna primarily lived a life of an ordinary human being. The same is true of Lord Rama. In fact, Shri Rama did not perform any leelas ( divine play) at all! The Divine does not perform miracles. What Divine does and what happens then are not called miracles. They are the Divine’s “Leela” or Divine play.
The purpose of leelas is an expression of his Love and Love alone. Divine ‘leela’ is for the protection of or for the benefit and welfare of people.
We believe and you will see this with us too, that when people have transformed their lives, it is NOT due to a Divine miracle. It is because of Divine’s love. It is called Divine’s leela. Miracles never bring about a transformation in life. There is no spiritual progress as a result of miracles.
Transformation and spiritual progress only happens through Divine’s Love and Grace. It is due to Divine leela alone. The Divine has nothing to do with miracles. The Divine only has his children’s welfare in his heart. The Divine’s feeling is only about how his children can progress and develop - that alone is the Divine’s constant thought.
When you pray to the Divine Light, use the word leela and not miracle. When you say to the Divine Light, “please Dada perform a miracle in my life, “ it will never happen. Instead, ask the Divine Light to bring an end to all your challenges with his ‘ leela’. Ask the Divine Light, “release me from all my worries. May your Grace and Love be with me always!” Pray in this manner.
When you pray in this way, Grace will automatically flow towards you. You will always have Divine love, grace and leela. There is no place for miracles here. Miracles are always short lived whereas Divine’s leela is continuously flowing and there is no end to it. Leelas will always happen whenever there is a need.
All of you please remain with Divine’s leela (play) in your life and you will get closer to the Divine. You will experience the Divine spiritual energy. It’s just like getting closer to the sun’s energy. Step by step we will get closer to the Divine energy. Divine leela is like that. The prayer you want to offer to Maitreya Dadashreeji is for the Divine to fill your life with the leela of Love. Pray that one day all of us become like Dadashreeji. Pray that, “we become Divine, we become the Truth one day, and pray that we become Love.”
Through the Divine may there be welfare of society and the entire world. Offer this prayer in front of your Divine Light so that you are filled love and friendship.
